The Body Remembers is a grounded healing workshop designed to help you understand how unresolved stress, emotional imprinting, and body-held patterning may still be living within you — and to begin, gently, the process of softening what has been carried for too long.
This is not about forcing the body to release. It is about creating the conditions of enough safety, enough support, and enough warmth that the system can finally begin to trust that it is safe to let go.

It may not arrive as a memory or a thought. It may simply be a way the body has learned to be — a chronic readiness, a difficulty settling, a system that runs slightly too hot or stays slightly too guarded.
You may not always know why it is there. But the body remembers in its own way — through the language of sensation, contraction, and the patterns it has built around what was once unsafe.

No. This is not therapy, and you will never be asked to share your personal history, discuss your past, or explain what your body has been holding. The healing happens in the body — not in the talking about it. Vandana's approach is trauma-informed, which means the entire design of the evening prioritises your sense of safety, choice, and pace above all else. You remain in control throughout.
This is extremely common — and it is not a problem. The body does not require you to have a narrative about its patterns before it can begin to release them. Many participants arrive with only a vague sense of heaviness, tension, or disconnection. The practices Vandana guides you through are designed to work with the body's own intelligence, not with your mental understanding of it.
No. This evening involves gentle breathing, guided meditation, and stillness. You will be seated or lying down throughout. There is no movement, exercise, or physical intensity of any kind. The work happens in the subtle body — in breath, awareness, and the quality of attention brought to what is being held.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing — something you would wear to rest in. Avoid stimulants in the hours before. Eat lightly. Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle your body before the session begins — not rushed, not depleted. Bring a journal and water bottle. The most useful preparation is simply: come willing to receive, not to perform.
